The renewal of joints and repairs of the body can be carried out. Cracks in the oboe body will be accurately filled to ensure an optimum tone quality.
If requested or necessary, hard rubber can be inserted in the tone holes. This becomes necessary if a crack runs through a tone hole.
The body is treated with special oil that prevents the wood from drying out and absorbing humidity, thus protecting it against cracking. This special oil is made on the basis of almond oil.
I attach great importance on the precise and quiet functioning of the keywork and offer keywork customisations according to the individual expectations of the musician.
Apart from that I can offer silver-plating or gold-plating of the keywork. Finally the oboe is test played and can be tuned on request.
